US authorities deport Russian businessman German Lillevali, creator of Dovgan and Smak brands, to Estonia. TASS writes about this with reference to a representative in the US Immigration and Customs Service.
It is noted that he was detained for violating migration laws. The US Department said that Lillevali arrived in the States in February under the name Hermann Heinmann as part of the visa-free travel program. However, he did not leave the territory of the country in accordance with the requirements of American law, in connection with which the businessman was detained.
On October 13, it became known that Lillevali had been in the immigration prison for about a month. He is accused of fraud by investors from different countries: employees of his investment holding allegedly embezzled money allocated for the purchase of shares. The victims claim damage up to 9 billion rubles. In Russia, Lillevali is under investigation under Article 159 of the Criminal Code.
