Kim Jong Un visits typhoon-hit DPRK province
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un inspected the typhoon-affected area of Hamgennam-do province, located in the east of the country, state agency KCNA reported.
The politician got acquainted with the restoration work carried out in the region. During the examination, Kim Jong-un instructed the provincial authorities to take measures to provide the victims with food and basic necessities.
According to the North Korean leader, the quality of the renovated buildings is at a high level. Kim Jong-un expressed gratitude to the servicemen who were mobilized for the construction.
Recall that Typhoon Maysak hit the Korean Peninsula in early September. The element has damaged over two thousand houses in the DPRK. In addition, dozens of buildings, roads and bridges were damaged.
