Maduro announced a terrorist attack on a gas pipeline in Venezuela
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced the terrorist attack on the gas pipeline of the state oil company Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) in a speech that was broadcast on YouTube.
“Today we survived a terrorist attack on the eastern gas pipeline that caused a huge fire,” Maduro said. The attackers aimed to disrupt gas supplies from a local oil refinery, he said. The Venezuelan leader called the organizers of the attack terrorists and cowards.
At the moment, the fire is controlled by the PDVSA workers. As a result of the incident, no one was killed or injured. The gas leak in the pipeline is stopped.
