He is the first person in the West to receive a Pfizer / BioNTech product. The woman's name is Margaret Keenan, she is 90 years old. She lives in Coventry, West Midlans.
The woman was vaccinated at 6.30 am local time (9.30 Moscow time) at Coventry University Hospital. Keenan said being the first person to be vaccinated against the coronavirus is an honor. She joked that it was “the best birthday present you could dream of,” made in advance.
Keenan said that thanks to the vaccination, she will be able to spend the New Year with friends and family. She also thanked the doctors and specialists from the England National Health Service (NHS).
