Russian vaccine “Sputnik V” registered in North Macedonia
The Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has been registered in North Macedonia, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said.
“RDIF announces registration of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik V in the Republic of North Macedonia. The registration of the drug was carried out as part of an emergency use authorization (EUA). Thus, the Sputnik V vaccine has been approved in 46 countries with a total population of over 1.2 billion people, ”the message reads.
It is also noted that the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 ranks second in the world in terms of the number of approvals received by state regulators.
Earlier, Russia's Permanent Representative Mikhail Ulyanov spoke about the attitude of foreigners to Russian vaccines. According to him, many of his colleagues in the diplomatic corps have expressed interest in being vaccinated with Russian vaccines. He noted that work in this direction is already underway, but the process will take at least a month.
