SpaceX Launches Booster With 60 Starlink Satellites
A Falcon 9 launch vehicle with 60 Starlink internet satellites launched in Florida. The live broadcast was hosted by SpaceX on its website.
The rocket was launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral at 22:59 US East Coast time (06:59 Moscow time). The previous launch of 60 satellites took place on February 4.
As a reminder, Starlink is a satellite network that provides broadband Internet access. The project started three years ago. Its goal is to make high-speed Internet available anywhere in the world. At the first stage of the network creation, about 11 thousand satellites will be launched. The project cost is about ten billion dollars.
