The first spring thunderstorm passed in Moscow
The first spring thunderstorm and thunder were recorded in the Russian capital today, the Meteonosti portal reports.
During the day, Moscow experienced the influence of two atmospheric fronts. The first of them brought a daytime snowfall, and the second – a spring thunderstorm. Such weather was noticed in the eastern region of Izmailovo.
Also, meteorologists recorded an increase in the wind in Moscow: the speed of gusts during Thursday reached 20 meters per second.
Earlier it was reported that in Moscow and the region on April 8, a “yellow level” of weather danger is expected. Experts suggest that in a few days the city may receive from a quarter to a half of the monthly norm of precipitation. Note that in April it has 44 mm.
