US spoke about the situation with Navalny

Press Secretary of the US President Kayleigh Makinani spoke about the situation with Alexei Navalny. Her words are reported by Interfax.
“The United States has condemned the confirmed poisoning in the most severe manner,” she said. Makinani referred to the data of German experts, who concluded that Navalny was poisoned with a nerve agent. She also stressed that the use of chemical weapons is not acceptable under any circumstances.
In addition, Makinani said the US stance towards Russia has never been tougher than it was under the administration of current leader Donald Trump. She recalled that Washington, in response to Moscow's actions, has already expelled diplomats and imposed sanctions.
Earlier, Donald Trump refused to answer a journalist's question about the incident with Navalny. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Washington will definitely react to the situation with Navalny as soon as all the facts of what happened are known.
Navalny felt unwell during the flight from Tomsk to Moscow on August 20. The plane urgently landed in Omsk, where doctors from the Omsk hospital provided assistance for two days. After that, the oppositionist was taken to the Berlin clinic “Charite”. Two and a half weeks later, on September 10, Navalny completely recovered, and on September 14 he was disconnected from the artificial lung ventilation (ALV) apparatus.
Experts from several European countries said that Navalny was poisoned with a drug from the Novichok group. Russian doctors say they did not find traces of the poison in the analyzes.
