Russia continues to advance in 5 directions. We are talking about Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner.

Russia continues to violate the norms of International Humanitarian Law, attacks civilian objects and houses of the civilian population with artillery, and tries to destroy the critical infrastructure of Ukraine. Unfortunately, the threat of further missile strikes throughout Ukraine is still highly probable.

What is the situation at the front

Over the past day (March 5 – Channel 24), our soldiers repelled more than 95 enemy attacks in the indicated directions, in particular, in the areas of Belogorovka and Nevsky in the Luhansk region and Zheleznyansky, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut and Ivanovsky in the Donetsk region, – declared in ISW.

In addition, the Russians over the past day inflicted 27 air and 4 missile strikes on Ukraine, more than 70 times they hit from multiple launch rocket systems.

What is the situation in different directions

According to our General Staff, the formation of hostile offensive groups was not detected in the Volyn, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions. However, the Russians attacked from mortars and artillery the settlements of Iskriskovshchina and Volfin in the Sumy region and Budarki, Veterinary, Olkhovatka, Strelka, Krasnoye, Ternovo and Ogurtsovo in the Kharkiv region. In addition, the enemies

• in the Kupyansky and Limansky directions – the areas of the settlements of Dvurechnaya, Gryanikovka, Masyutovka and Peschanoe of the Kharkiv region, Kuzemovka, Belogorovka, Nevsky, Krasnopopovka and Serebryansky forestry of the Luhansk region and Terny, Disputed and Razdolevka of the Donetsk region were fired from artillery;
• in the Bakhmut direction – do not stop trying to storm Bakhmut and the surrounding settlements. They shelled Zheleznyanskoye, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Bogdanovka, Chasov Yar, Kurdyumovka, Kleshchievka, Shirokaya Balka, Ozaryanovka, Druzhba, Grigorievka, Maiorsk and New York of the Donetsk region;
• in the Avdeevka and Shakhtyorsk directions – they carried out useless offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Kamenka, Severnoye, Pobeda and Maryinka of the Donetsk region. The districts of 21 settlements were attacked, including Veseloye, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Berdichi, Pervomayskoye, Krasnogorovka and Ugledar;
• in the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemies are on the defensive, in some areas they are trying to create conditions for going over to the offensive. More than 40 settlements were under enemy fire. In particular, Novoselka and Vremovka in the Donetsk region, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Gulyaipole and Kamenskoe in Zaporozhye, as well as Vesele, Berislav, Chernobaevka, Antonovka in the Kherson region and Kherson. Unfortunately, people died and civilian infrastructure was damaged.

Russians move equipment and force students to repair it

The invaders are trying to mislead the Ukrainian Defense Forces and are maneuvering by moving columns in the areas of the settlements of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region and Crimean Armyansk. However, the occupiers are unhappy with such actions. After all, they do not have sufficient fuel and “even a hint of the effectiveness of such maneuvers.”

In Volnovakha, Donetsk region, the invaders set up a base for the restoration of damaged equipment on the funds of the local vocational technical school. Students are forcibly involved in repair work, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

Moreover, on March 5, our aviation struck 12 times at the areas of concentration of the invaders. In addition, rocket and artillery units hit:

• 3 control points;
• 4 areas of concentration;
• 1 position of enemy air defense systems.

Note! The Armed Forces of Ukraine have named the direction in which the Russians are attacking more actively than in Bakhmutsky. We are talking about the Lugansk direction, or rather, about Kremennaya. According to the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces Sergei Cherevaty, the enemy is trying to attack there, in particular, during these days in the Belogorovka area, in the area of u200bu200bNevsky, Serebryansky forestry, enemy activity has been observed. Even more than in the Bakhmut direction.
