Infidels held 350 people hostage in the Chernihiv region/Collage of 24 channels

Russian invaders held the inhabitants of the village of Yagodnoe, Chernihiv region, hostage – more than 350 people survived inhumane conditions.

During the temporary occupation of the Chernihiv region, Russian militants committed war crimes against peaceful Ukrainians. Thus, the prosecutor's office recorded the fact that the Russians were holding hostage residents of the village of Yagodnoye, located in the Chernihiv region.

The investigation of the case was carried out with the assistance of international instances – the prosecutors carried out a joint visit with experts from the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to the village of Yagodnoye .

Law enforcement authorities have previously established that from March 3 to March 31, 2022, Russian infidels held civilians in Yagodnoye hostage.

The militants kept civilians of different ages and gender in the basement of the Yagodnyansky branch of the Kulichevskaya secondary school of the Ivanovo village council.

More than 350 locals, of which 77 children , including 5 babies. The youngest child was one and a half months old, and the oldest hostage was 93 years old, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.

According to the prosecutor's office, the local population actually used it as a human shield, because the school building was an impromptu “headquarters” of the Russian invaders – so the Ukrainian military could not destroy the concentrations of militants.

As a result of inhuman detention in the basement of the school, 10 people died people.

Due to inhuman conditions of detention – lack of sufficient space, sanitary conditions, access to air, food, water, 10 elderly people died, – the department reported.

Of the 180 houses in the village of Yagodnoe, the vast majority were damaged. 148 residential buildings were damaged by infidel shells, and another 16 were completely destroyed.

In addition, the prosecutor's office established that the infidels shot 7 civilians of the village.

It was not without looting – Russian infidels tried to take away the valuables of the inhabitants of Yagodnoe and robbed their houses.

As eyewitnesses say, during the occupation, the Russian military robbed the houses of the villagers. Washing machines, televisions, microwave ovens, electric kettles and other valuables were stolen, the Office of the Prosecutor General said.

Kafirs will be punished

Every Russian who committed crimes on Ukrainian soil will be punished. Recently, the first trial of a Russian war criminal who killed a civilian unarmed resident of the Sumy region took place.

In court, the occupier Shishimarin pleaded guilty to the murder of a resident of the Sumy region, 62-year-old Alexander Shelipov. It is known that even in the first days of the war, on February 28, an invader near the village of Chupakhivka shot dead a Ukrainian riding a bicycle. This happened not far from the house of the deceased.

The wife of the deceased, as well as the prosecutor's office, demand a life sentence for the Russian soldier Vadim Shishimarin for violating the laws and customs of war, in particular, we are talking about the murder of a civilian.

The verdict of the infidels should be passed on May 23 or 24.
