This is reported on the RMF FM website, citing sources in the Homeland Security Agency.
According to preliminary data, six people were detained in the case. Probably, these are citizens of Belarus who worked on the orders of the Russian special services.
The arrests are related to the discovery of hidden cameras on important routes and railway junctions, especially at sites in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship bordering Ukraine.
Also, spy equipment was installed near the airport in Jasionka near Rzeszow, where Western weapons and ammunition are transported for Ukraine.
As the site adds, these cameras were also to be installed in other places and cities in Poland.
RMF FM reports that service and police officers are on high alert. They are aimed at checking and protecting Poland's strategic rail routes. They also had to strengthen the protection of key critical infrastructure facilities.
The representative of the minister-coordinator of the special services, Stanislav Zharin, published a message about holding a special briefing for the media on Thursday, March 16, at which a statement will be made on this matter.
