Archaeologists have found in the village of Novoaleksandrovka, Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine, an ancient stone structure that can be compared with Stonehenge.
In total, archaeologists discovered about twenty graves at the site of the expedition. The most interesting find was a mound 7.5 meters high and 5 meters wide, about 5,500 years old. In this mound there were 11 graves and boulders called cromlechs.
Scientists concluded that the hill was a very important place where leaders and shamans could be buried. Found stone slabs are located in a circle and dug into the ground for a meter. Each block is two meters high. In total, scientists have unearthed about two dozen pillars. The structure is similar to Stonehenge, and, apparently, also had a sacred meaning.
It is reported that they want to partially restore the Novoaleksandrovsky kurgan and turn it into a museum.
