A resident of Kyrgyzstan for the first time hit the top of the most influential women of the year. Her name is Gulnaz Zhuzbaeva, and the woman was added to the list of the British BBC. Correspondent “MIR 24” Aida Amatbekova found out what achievements the compatriot was noted for.
“We are fine”. This answer of former students for the head of the Association of the Blind, Gulnaz Zhuzbayeva, is long-awaited. Now they are employees of the call center of a private bank. Gulnaz opened adaptation courses two years ago. Aytunuk also took classes, then got a job.
“Until that moment we didn’t receive a salary, until we felt that we were quite independent independent people,” said the employee of the call center Aytunuk Joomart Kyzy.
“We had to buy special software, which is quite expensive. But we bought it so that the blind could work at the same level and have the same opportunities, “added the executive director of the company Ainagul Samidinova. Some of the graduates succeed in sports. Mamat Suranov lost his eyesight three years ago and tries himself in judo. For a year now, it has been preparing for the Paralympic Games, which are to be held in 2021.

The courses created by Gulnaz teach everything: move around the city with a cane, serve yourself in the kitchen, in the office and even understand the mood of the interlocutor by steps and voice. Gulnaz Zhuzbayeva trained 60 people. Her work was appreciated by the British edition of the BBC: Gulnaz was included in the list of the 100 most influential women in the world.
“It was unexpected how I got on such a list. And, of course, there was pride, such feelings were that it was not in vain that we were doing such work with the team. So many people have been changed in life, that these are the fruits of our work, ”said the head of the Association of the Blind in Kyrgyzstan Gulnaz Zhuzbayeva.
Now Gulnaz has new goals. She plans to set up a large center and train hundreds of blind Kyrgyz people. At the same time he translates works of famous authors into Braille. For a year, together with the team, she published 400 books.
