Mobile operators and retailers reported that Russians may soon face a shortage of popular smartphones.

In particular, we are talking about models of such companies as Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi, which in total occupy about 90% of the Russian smartphone market. The interviewed retailers and mobile operators admitted that this situation is global, and the time frame in which the problem will be resolved is unknown and difficult to predict.

Moreover, it is reported that the lack of smartphones was recorded already in September, and in the future it will only get worse. So, sources say that in October about 50% of consumer needs will be supplied to the Russian market. Most of all, the problem will affect the premium and mid-budget segment of devices.
