Russian invaders attacked Krivoy Rog on the evening of September 14th. As a result of the attack, the water level in the Ingulets River rose.

The attack occurred during an air raid. It was announced at about 17:00.

After the enemy attack on September 14, the head of the military administration of Krivoy Rog, Alexander Vilkul, called on the townspeople to keep calm. According to him, the Russians attacked one of the hydraulic infrastructure facilities.

After the shelling, the Russian media reported that the invaders hit the dam of the Karachunovsky reservoir. As a result, the water level in the Ingulets River rose by 2-3 meters. Also, after the shelling, there were problems with water supply in the city.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that 8 Russian cruise missiles arrived in Krivoy Rog.

This is an act of terrorism against our people, against a particular city. After all, missiles aim to fly into structures that are critically important in the life support of people. – the official stressed.

Tymoshenko added that on September 14, Russian troops sent the maximum number of weapons to the hydraulic structures. The aim of the infidels is obvious. They are trying to create an emergency.

“They don't care if people are left without water, or the city will be in the water. They need our panic, in which it is difficult to make decisions. Therefore, we do not panic,” the official stressed.

He noted that the services are already eliminating the consequences of missile strikes, and the military administration is coordinating work on the spot.

“The main thing is that there are no casualties among the civilian population, and we will restore the rest. The situation we keep it under control,” Tymoshenko summed up.
