After the incident with two Russian Su-27 fighter jets in a very unprofessional attempt to intercept an American MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance drone, the Pentagon said it did not seek to escalate with Russia.

“We do not seek conflict with Russia, we do not seek escalation with Russia,” Ryder said.

He noted that the video of Russian fighter jets dropping fuel and then attacking an American MQ-9 Reaper drone in the Black Sea was released to “publicly demonstrate what actions the Russians have taken.”

Ryder also said that the United States did not demand any apologies from Russia.

At the same time, the White House considers the actions of Russian Su-27 fighters against the American MQ-9 Reaper drone as aggressive and conscious. However, they noted that they could not say whether the Russian pilot sought to arrange a collision with the drone.

Meanwhile, the Russians, who found an American drone in the sea 60 km from the occupied Sevastopol, were interested in the internal electronic “stuffing” of the US UAV, as well as its engine.
