The Ukrainian military continues to resist the Russian invaders. Fierce battles continue for Bakhmut. We tell you what the situation is along the entire front line.

The relevant data was shared in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 19. It was reported that over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 80 enemy attacks in five directions only.

Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to defend Ukraine

The General Staff emphasizes that, despite the loss of manpower, Russia continues to wage a war of conquest. We remind you that the occupiers are striving to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. This is their primary mission now.

To achieve their goals, the enemy continues to advance daily. The main forces of the invaders are concentrated in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Miner directions. In the past 24 hours alone, our defenders repulsed 83 enemy attacks on the corresponding sector of the front.

Bakhmut – the epicenter of hostilities

In the Bakhmut direction, our defenders repulsed a number of enemy attacks in the northern part of the city. It was also possible to drive away the invaders in the areas of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Grigorovka and Bogdanovka. At the same time, Vasyukovka, Zheleznyanskoye, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Grigorovka, Bogdanovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Chasov Yar, Kurdyumovka, Ozaryanovka and Northern Donetsk region came under fire from the Russians.

Kupyanskoe and Limanskoe directions. There, the invaders are trying to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They conducted offensive operations in the areas of Kremennaya, Dibrova, Verkhnekamenny and Disputed. Didn't get any results. Artillery fired at the areas of the settlements of Putnikovo, Krasnoe Pervoe, Dvuhletnaya, Gryanikovka, Kupyansk, Krakhmalnoye and Berestovoye in the Kharkiv region; Novoselovskoe, Nevskoe and Belogorovka in the Luhansk region, as well as Disputed and Fedorovka in the Donetsk region.

Avdeevskoe, Maryinskoe and Shakhterskoe directions. There, too, attempts were made to attack the enemy, but they were all without results. The invaders moved in the areas of Krasnogorovka, Kamenka, Avdeevka, Vodyany, Pervomaisky and Marinka. The last Russians attacked 15 times. Kamenka, Lastochkino, Avdeevka, Tonechko, Georgievka, Nevelskoe, Maryinka, Vuhledar and Bolshaya Novoselka in the Donetsk region came under shelling.

Volyn, Podolsk, Seversk and Slobozhansk directions. There the operating situation has not changed. During the day, the enemy fired at the areas of Aleksandrovka and Klyusov in the Chernihiv region, Kharkovka, Starikovy, Volfiny, Sumy region, Krasnaya Dawn, Veterinary, Strelka, Staritsa, Volchensk and Veliky Burluk in the Kharkov region.

Zaporozhye and Kherson directions. Enemies are on the defensive there. Olgovskoye, Krasnoye, Hulyaipole, Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilovka, Novoandreevka and Kamenskoe of Zaporozhye region fell under shelling. In addition, the invaders once again attacked Kherson and Antonovka.

Enemy losses are rising

• The occupiers are trying to send reinforcements to Ugledar in an accelerated mode. The corresponding need for them arose against the backdrop of the current situation near the settlement. The enemy is taking losses there.
• According to the General Staff, the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th army of the Eastern Military District is conducting combat adjustment of the “storm” unit. This has been happening since March 13, 2023. It is known that this unit is planned to be sent to Ukraine on March 24. At the same time, it should be noted that the “storm” suffers from a shortage of personnel. Therefore, commanders recall their subordinates who are undergoing treatment or rehabilitation.
• Meanwhile, the Russian military continues to complain about the low level of support. They complain about the low level of motivation of manpower. In addition, there are a large number of attempts to avoid being sent to the front.
• And while the Russians are complaining, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy them. Over the past 24 hours alone, the Defense Forces aviation has delivered 10 strikes on enemy concentration areas. They also destroyed the Shahid UAV. Rocket and artillery troops hit seven areas of accumulation of manpower, as well as military equipment.
