These air defense systems protect President Vladimir Putin and his family from an alleged Ukrainian strike. This conclusion can be drawn after the air defense installation appeared next to the Valdai presidential residence. There are simply no other objects for protection, except for the residence, – the message says.

A resident of the city of Valdai in the Novgorod region took a picture in the village of Yascherovo – in the photo is an air defense system that was placed in the village a few weeks ago.

In the photo, perhaps, the Pantsir-S1 complex. The same recent days were seen in the center of Moscow and in the Moscow region.

Obviously, the air defense system appeared in Yashcherovo immediately after the attack of Ukrainian drones on Russian military airfields in the interior of the country – the first attack on air bases near Ryazan and Engels in the Saratov region was on December 5.

Residents of Yashcherovo and neighboring villages, from which journalists contacted, confirmed the deployment of an air defense system in Valdai. Moreover, one of the interlocutors noted that the complex is not idle – it is on alert, at least three servicemen are constantly nearby, the radar antenna rotates.

Pay attention! Yasherovo is one of the two closest villages to the presidential residence, standing on the shore of one of the local lakes called Dinner. It is about 6 kilometers from Yascherovo to Putin's residence.

It is noted that Putin's Valdai residence, although it is called official, almost does not perform representative functions. It is better known as a place of personal leisure for Putin, his relatives and friends.

Putin visits Valdai very often, he loves this place. It was in Yascherovoe that people close to Putin settled on a permanent basis, such as FSO officers and heads of the presidential administration, the newspaper notes.

Curiously, there is no critical infrastructure, strategic facilities, large enterprises or large concentrations of military equipment and personnel in this area. That is, Putin was really seriously worried about his own safety and the safety of his entourage. Moscow has already installed at least three air defense systems on the roofs of administrative buildings, namely:

• the Ministry of Defense on Frunzenskaya Embankment;
• the administrative building in Teterinsky Lane;

All of them block the decision-making center of infidels, namely the Kremlin. Also, a significant part of the capital of the terrorist country is in their coverage area.

Western media believe that in Russia they may be frightened by the work of drones, through the activity of which “cotton” visited Saratov and Ryazan. These cities are located not too far from Moscow itself, at a distance of 800 and 200 kilometers, respectively.

However, there may be other goals in the Kremlin. Yes, the Institute for the Study of War believes that in this way Russia is trying to create information conditions in order to prepare Russians for a “protracted war” in Ukraine.
