The Austrian team player stays in the German Bundesliga. He signed with Arminia until 2023.
Alessandro Schöpf remains in the German Bundesliga after the relegation of Schalke 04. The 27-year-old Tyrolean is moving to Arminia Bielefeld, where other Austrians are under contract with Christian Gehbauer and Manuel Prietl.
Schöpf was trained at FC Bayern Munich and ended up at Schalke 04 via 1. FC Nürnberg in 2016.
The midfielder, who made two appearances for Austria at the European Championships, received a contract until 2023. “Arminia and the people in charge tried very hard for me in the talks, which impressed me,” said Schöpf.
