And here it broke: iPhone 13 users began to lose photos Complaints appeared both on social networks and on the Apple forum.

IPhone users have complained that photos have disappeared from their devices. This is reported by the MacRumors edition.

Complaints have surfaced on social media and the official Apple forum. According to reports, the issue is related to the built-in iMessage messenger and appeared after updating to the latest iOS 15. In case if you save a certain photo from the message to the gallery and then delete the message, the photo will disappear when doing the backup.

According to journalists, the problem is causing serious concern among iPhone users. Many people have iCloud backup turned on automatically. For example, files on a smartphone start synchronizing with a virtual server when the device is connected to a charger.

The issue was noticed in both the public release of iOS 15 and the second beta of iOS 15.1.

“Until this error is fixed, if you downloaded photos from iMessage, you must make sure to save the message to iMessage and not delete it to prevent the photo from automatically disappearing from your devices,” the authors noted.

Earlier, Apple promised to fix critical errors that users found in the iPhone 13.
