Another suspect arrested in Nice attack case

It is noted that a 33-year-old man was arrested in a house in Nice, which belongs to another detainee in this case. There are currently four persons involved, including the direct perpetrator of the crime.

Earlier it was reported that law enforcement officers detained a 35-year-old resident of Nice during a raid on October 30. The investigation establishes his possible connections with the killer. On October 29, a 47-year-old man was detained for the same reason.

The knife attack was carried out by Tunisian Ibrahim al-Awisaoui in the church of Notre Dame de Nis on October 29. The attack in Nice killed three people. Two victims had their throats cut, but the attacker did not completely decapitate them. The attacker was wounded by the police during the arrest, he shouted “Allahu akbar!” and continued to repeat these words even after his arrest. He was hospitalized. The previously unknown group “Al-Mahdi in the south of Tunisia” claimed responsibility for the incident.
