Ming-Chi Kuo shares some inside information on Apple's plans again. This time, he said that the company has postponed the release of the new iPad mini 6. Apple is considering the second half of 2021 as a release date.
Kuo announced today that Apple wants to release an 8-inch flexible iPhone in 2023. In the same note, the analyst noted that recent global changes (apparently, we are talking about a pandemic) helped to increase iPad sales. The company expects recently launched iPad Pro models to drive sales growth. So is the launch of the new iPad mini in the second half of 2021.
Previously, it was believed that the mini-tablet will be released in the first half of the year. However, most likely, due to problems with supplies, its release date was postponed.
The new iPad mini is rumored to have an 8.4-inch display with thin bezels. Overall, no major design changes are expected.
