Apple to first release MacBook with next-generation 120Hz display in October

On the eve of Apple announced its fresh event. And although the company itself did not tell what it will be devoted to, many insiders confirmed that the presentation will focus on the new MacBook Pro laptops.

Against this background, a fresh statement from Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, turned out to be even more interesting. In his Twitter account, the specialist wrote that he is “100% confident” in equipping the upcoming MacBook with Mini LED displays of the new generation.

He also announced that Apple will increase the refresh rate of its laptop screens to 120 Hz – for the first time in the history of the line!

Recall that in addition to the above, the new MacBooks are credited with a fresh design, the return of USB-A ports, HDMI, etc. The devices will be based on the M1X chip with a 10-core CPU and a 16-32 core GPU.

The date of the upcoming Apple online presentation is October 18.
