Apple plans to release new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with an improved M1 chip in the summer of 2021.
According to the source, the new chipset will include 10 CPU cores, eight of which will be high-performance and two energy-efficient. As for the GPU, 16 or 32 cores are expected here. Also, the next generation Apple Silicon will support up to 64GB of storage.
Even more interesting, the new MacBook Pro models will have a redesigned case. It will have more ports, including HDMI, an SD card slot, and a MagSafe magnetic charging cable.
The source also said that Apple is working on an updated MacBook Air, which could be released in late 2021.
