The head of the negotiating group David Arakhamia discussed with the Ukrainian military, who hold the defense in the north of the country, the limit of compromises with Russia.

In particular, Arakhamia said that on April 7 in the Chernihiv region they talked with combat commanders of the Operational Command “North”.

Our task in the negotiations is to legally consolidate the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Their strength and courage form a negotiating position for us,” Arakhamia noted.

And he explained that he now wanted to hear the position of the Ukrainian military on what could be a compromise for us and what was unacceptable.

< p>Arakhamia noted that it was very useful to talk about this in a closed format, and in the coming days he plans to visit other regions to hold similar meetings with the military.

Recall that David Arakhamia headed the negotiating group with Russia. The talks will concern a draft treaty on security guarantees for Ukraine.
