Are they sent to the army immediately after serving the summons: the military told all the procedures

General mobilization continues in Ukraine. However, receiving a summons does not always mean that a person will be immediately sent to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was told by the Deputy Head of the Territorial Center for Acquisition and Social Support, Head of the Acquisition Sector of the Kyiv City TCC and Joint Venture, Colonel Alexander Konovalov.

In which case a person is immediately sent to the army

Konovalov stressed that there are two types of agendas :

  1. to clarify military credentials,
  2. combat agenda – to be sent to the troops as part of a team.

If a citizen received a summons of the first type, namely to clarify the data, this does not mean that he is already being taken into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A citizen is called to verify credentials, undergo a medical commission and conduct a professional psychological selection.

After a citizen passes all these events and is found fit according to all criteria, he is handed a summons to be sent to the troops. If, for health reasons, he is unsuitable or has the right to a deferment from conscription, then the summons will be handed to him only to clarify the data or to provide certain documents, – said the deputy head of the Kiev City TCC and SP.

He stressed that the mobilized, who did not do military service, are sent to training centers. According to the chief, due to the full-scale war, the training of privates and sergeants is taking place on a reduced schedule, but without reducing the quality of training.

What to do if without preparation they were immediately sent to the front line

Alexander Konovalov clarified that if a person liable for military service was sent to the front line without weapons skills and training, he should report this to the hotline phones.

In order to quickly figure it out and take action, you should give the name and surname of the mobilized person, the number of the military unit to which they were sent, and which the TCC and the joint venture sent.
