Ukrainian soldiers continue to heroically defend Bakhmut, which is now the hottest direction on the entire front line. At two points, the invaders have problems, because our defenders are squeezing them there.

For Channel 24 , a military expert, a retired colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, pilot-instructor Roman Svitan analyzed the map of hostilities. He is convinced that Bakhmut will not be cordoned off by the occupying troops.

There is positive news in the north of Bakhmut

Svitan noted that certain operational-tactical actions are currently being carried out in the Bakhmut area. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully worked on the “claw”, which from north to south is trying to cut off our supply chains to the city.

There are positive moments from the north of Bakhmut,” said the Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, the attempts of the Russians to go from the north to the highway have been stopped. They cannot enter the field, our artillery and tank companies are working on the enemy there. Therefore, it is possible to supply our Bakhmut garrison.

The military expert emphasized that Bakhmut is the most difficult point along the entire line of operations. The entire Russian front has been landed on practically the minimum amount of work on shells. Therefore, it is very difficult there now, but our soldiers are heroically holding the line.

APU squeeze Russians in two points

The Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is sure that Bakhmut will not be surrounded by the occupying forces. Even if a decision is made to withdraw, there are certain operational and tactical actions that will make it possible to hold the corridor for the exit of our fighters.

After all, he noted, certain actions have already been taken – a rotation has been carried out, in particular, airborne troops, special operations forces, and operatives have been brought into the city. These commandos are holding Bakhmut with the help of other units.

According to the military expert, south of Bakhmut, from Kurdyumovka towards Chasovoy Yar, a “cauldron” has been created for the invaders – our soldiers are standing there on three sides. The enemy in the north of Bakhmut has the same problem.

He added that the occupiers are trying to attack, but things can change so much that they will be on the defensive. In general, everything depends on the actions of our commanders, because most of the generals are directly in charge of our troops there.
