The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the latest information from the front as of March 19.

During the day, the enemy launched 1 missile and 7 air strikes, made 9 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.

The Russian invaders cynically attacked a residential building in the Vasilyevsky district and civilian infrastructure facilities in the Kamensky Zaporozhye region. The Russian army also fired at civilian infrastructure facilities in the Donetsk region. There are dead and wounded, high-rise buildings, private houses and schools are damaged.

On the Volynsky , Polessky , Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. During the day, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Klyusy, Aleksandrovka, Chernihiv region ; Kharkivka, Starikove, Volfinnoe, Stepok, Sumy region ; Deep, Krasnoye, Volchansk, Kolodeznoye, Kamenka, Krasnoe Pervoe, Dvuhletnoye, Zapadnoye and Kondrashovka of the Kharkiv region .

What is the situation at the front

On the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the enemy continues to attempt to break through the defenses of our troops. He led unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of u200bu200bthe settlement of Novoselovskoye. He carried out artillery shelling of the areas of the settlements of Vesele, Kupyansk, Krakhmalnoye, Peschanoe and Berestovoe in the Kharkiv region and Novoselovskoe, Nevskoye and Belogorovka in the Lugansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy does not stop trying to capture the city of Bakhmut. Enemy attacks were repulsed in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Bogdanovka and Grigorovka. Vasyukovka, Bakhmut, Grigorievka, Ivanovsky, Konstantinovka, Zhelezny and a number of other settlements of the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy shelling.

On the Avdeevsky , Maryinsky and Mining directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Kamenka, Avdeevka, Severnoye, Berdichi and Maryinka. Kamenka, Avdeevka, Nevelskoe, Krasnogorovka, Georgievka, Maryinka, Vuhledar, Bolshaya Novoselka and Neskuchnoe of the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy shelling.

On the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive. The shelling received areas, in particular, Gulyaipole, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Kamenskoye, Zaporozhye region, as well as Kherson, Mikhailovka, Gavrilovka, Dudchany, Ivanovka and Dneprovskoe.

The Russians continue to terrorize the local population

The Russian occupiers continue to exert psychological pressure on the local population in order to force them to obtain Russian citizenship.

Thus, the counterintelligence regime has been strengthened in the settlement of Azovskoye in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region. During it, the local population is actively checked for the presence of a Russian passport. Citizens who do not have it are forced to put up with additional checks accompanied by detention.

Also, the Russian invaders continue to commit looting, taking away housing from civilians of Ukraine. In particular, in the settlement of Strilkove in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, in the village council, for lobbying the village head and on the basis of the forcibly collected signatures of local deputies, an order is being developed on the forced illegal alienation of the houses of Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave the settlement. They want to transfer housing for living to the servicemen of the Russian occupation army.

During the day, the Aviation of the Defense Forces struck at the Russian anti-aircraft missile system (type is being specified), 6 strikes at the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers and ammunition.
