The city of Bakhmut has become a symbol of the rebelliousness of the Ukrainian people over the past six months. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to faithfully restrain the offensive actions of the enemy.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told Channel 24 about this. According to him, the occupying troops are getting more exhausted.

Oleg Zhdanov explained that both sides want to exhaust the enemy as much as possible.

“We do it better,” he stressed.

In his opinion, the situation in Bakhmut is difficult, but under control.

We hold positions in the city, hold the center and the western part of the city and successfully conduct street battles,” Zhdanov said.

According to him, the MTRs that entered Bakhmut are now performing combat missions to destroy the enemy in urban areas.

Significant enemy losses

The military expert focused on the fact that Bakhmut's main problem is the supply corridor for the group of troops defending him.

“It is quite narrow – only 5 kilometers,” he stressed.

Zhdanov explained that the logistical support of the Ukrainian army is constantly being shot through by the occupiers.

In addition, in order to bring ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is worth overcoming a long road that stretches to the beginning of the heights in front of the Time Yar. Our artillery is there.

However, despite this, the Ukrainian military continues to destroy enemies.

We are defending, and they are attacking, so we are depleting more Russian troops in this city, Oleg Zhdanov is convinced.

According to him, the proof of this is the loss of the “Wagnerites”, amounting to more than 10 thousand personnel in the struggle only for Soledar and Bakhmut.

The situation in Bakhmut: basic

• The Ukrainian military did not leave Bakhmut. The city is still under the control of the Armed Forces. Fearless tankers of the 93rd Kholodny Yar Brigade drive close to the enemy to shoot down their hiding places.
