During bad weather, local residents saw lightning in Chernivtsi. Another one ended up in the church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
The incident took place on July 2. This was reported by local residents in the church itself in the village of Chudei, Storozhynets district of Bukovina.

On July 2, during a thunderstorm, lightning struck the bell tower of the parish in honor of St. Nicholas in the village of Chudey of the Storozhynets deanery and caused a fire, the church said.
They added that the incident occurred after a night service. The rector of the parish, Archpriest Nikolai Popescu, said that he immediately called the rescuers. The latter put out the fire.
People saw lightning in Chernivtsi: it hit the house
Local users reported that on the evening of July 2, approximately at 20:27, lightning hit a house in the Maidan area. However, as of the night of July 3, the details are still unknown.
In addition, earlier “Young Bukovynets” published a video of a netizen who also noticed lightning over Chernivtsi.
It should be remembered that on July 2 weather forecasters warned of bad weather. In particular, thunderstorms and a squall were predicted.

- In addition, on July 2 there was a heavy downpour in Ternopil. After that, the city was flooded and the streets turned into rivers. Moreover, a tree destroyed a car there, and in general, bad weather knocked down 5 trees.
- It should be noted that on July 4, the weather will be warm in Ukraine. After all, rains are possible in the South and East, but in the West, North and Central Ukraine it will be warm and in most regions – more than 30 degrees Celsius.
