A representative of the banned Opposition Platform for Life Konstantin Ivashchenko agreed to cooperate with the occupiers. Yevgeny Kharmyshev, another deputy from the same faction, was elected “secretary of the community”. This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko.

People were rounded up at gunpoint

To provide a correct picture, the occupiers rounded up the authorities of Mariupol and the surrounding villages. Someone was threatened, and someone specifically agreed to cooperate with the invaders. At the fake meeting they accepted the stupidity that Mariupol is now part of a satellite of Russia.

Earlier, representatives of the Opposition Platform for Life and the Party of Sharia were excluded from the number of deputies in the Mariupol City Council. Now they wanted to make their “banana power”. Andryushchenko notes that the only legitimate governing body in the city is the Mariupol City Council and the mayor of the city Vadym Boychenko, elected in the elections in 2020.

“It is separately interesting whether the new banana plant will be decided now the power to visit the bases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Azov Regiment in order to gain full power over the city.
