Biden vows to make America independent of coronavirus by Independence Day
US President Joe Biden, in his televised address to the nation, promised that on the country's Independence Day, celebrated annually on July 4, Americans will celebrate another event – America's independence from the coronavirus.
– I'll tell you the truth – to spend July 4 with loved ones is a goal, but a lot can change, – without giving one hundred percent guarantees, Biden said.
In addition, he promised that by May 1, all adults in the United States will be able to get vaccinated without any queues and conditions.
According to the data announced by the head of the White House, so far 81 million Americans have already received the vaccine.
In the meantime, the administration is increasing the number of places in which it will be possible to vaccinate against COVID-19 at the expense of community centers and pharmacies. An additional 4,000 military personnel were involved in this work. The pool of specialists who will receive permission to vaccinate will also be increased. It will include dentists, obstetricians, paramedics, optometrists, veterinarians, and medical students.
