Blackout in Ukraine on January 20: schedules and list of cities
< p _ngcontent-sc100="" class="news-annotation">In most regions of Ukraine, stabilization schedules for power outages have been introduced. This is a required step after 12 massive enemy rocket attacks on the country's energy system.
In some regions, in addition to planned outages, emergency or emergency blackouts may apply.
Light in the Sumy region
On January 20, the schedule of hourly outages continues to operate in Sumy and the region.
The schedule provides for a shutdown electricity during these hours:
- 1 turn – 04:00-06:00; 08:00–12:00; 14:00–18:00; 20:00–24:00.
- 2nd turn – 00:00-02:00; 06:00-08:00; 10:00–14:00; 16:00–20:00; 22:00–24:00.
- 3rd turn – 02:00-04:00; 08:00–10:00; 12:00–16:00; 18:00–22:00.

What is happening with the light in Odessa region
On the night of January 20, emergency power outages were activated in Odessa and the region, from 7:00 to 24:00 – stabilization ones.
As it became known, Ukrenergo provided consumption limits for the Odessa region on January 20. From 00:00 to 07:00 – 385.4 MW, from 07:00 to 24:00 – 660.04 MW. In this regard, emergency power outages were applied at night, after 7:00 – stabilization shutdown schedules will operate. >Schedules introduced in the Rivne region

Also to reduce load on the network during peak hours, queue 4 can be applied to the shutdown.

Will there be light in Volyn
In the Volyn region on January 20, there are hourly power outage schedules. Due to damage to key facilities of backbone networks, a shortage of power remains in the unified energy system of Ukraine.
