Blackout in Ukraine on January 24: schedules and list of cities

In which areas will the power be turned off according to the schedule, and where emergency and emergency shutdowns are possible, says Channel 24.

Power outages in Zaporizhia/”Zaporozhyeoblenergo”

Limits increased by Ukrenergo for Zaporizhia region on January 24, by 6 % below January 23rd. At the same time, due to the gradual decrease in air temperature, an increase in energy consumption is expected.

At the direction of Ukrenergo, due to a shortage of power in the energy system, it will not be possible to carry out regime metering, which was scheduled for January 24, in the territory of the Carpathian region. Regime day without shutdowns – rescheduled. The date will be announced later.

On January 24, limits and a schedule of hourly shutdowns will be set. Limits for the region have not yet been proven.

On January 24, from 00.00 to 24.00 in the Cherkasy region, no power outages are planned. This is due to regime measurements of the hourly active electrical load. Such measures are necessary to obtain objective data on electricity consumption for each region of the country.

Power outage in the Khmelnitsky region/”Khmelnitskoblenergo”

Oblenergo published a schedule of hourly shutdowns for January 24:

  • 1 turn: 02:00-06:00, 08:00-12:00, 14:00-18:00, 20:00- 24:00;
  • 2nd turn: 00:00-02:00, 04:00-08:00, 10:00-14:00, 16:00-20:00, 22:00- 24:00;
  • 3rd turn: 00:00-04:00, 06:00-10:00, 12:00-16:00, 18:00-22:00.

Power outage in Vinnytsia region/”Vinnitsaoblenergo”

On January 24, the schedules of stabilization power outages in Odessa and the region will operate from 7:00. So, Ukrenergo has set different electricity limits for the Odessa region during the day. From 00:00 to 07:00, the limit ranges from 437.4 to 439.5 MW, from 07:00 to 24:00 – from 535.2 to 627.2 MW.

This means that at night there will be emergency blackouts in the region, during the day they will be turned off according to schedules.

Hourly power outage schedules were introduced in Volyn.

Due to the critically low level of the limit brought to the region, Volynoblenergo was forced to increase the duration of interruptions in power supply. See the charts here.
