Блинкен объяснил, как Россия может доказать свое нежелание нападать на Украину

To do this, the Russian Federation must withdraw its troops from the Ukrainian borders.

On Friday, January 21, after a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told how the Russian Federation can convince the world community that there are no intentions to invade Ukraine.

This became known from the broadcast of his press conference, which was conducted on YouTube.

According to the head of the US State Department, in order to convince the world of its unwillingness to fight, Russia should withdraw its troops from Ukraine.

“If Russia really wants to convince the world community that it has no plans to take aggressive actions against Ukraine, it should start proving it in reality — for example, by withdrawing troops from the border,” Blinken said.

The US Secretary of State also confirmed plans to continue negotiations after Moscow studies Washington’s written proposals.

Recall that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that during a meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, he agreed to provide Washington with written proposals on “security guarantees” next week.
