Blocking of Google Docs and Telegra.ph services in Russia has been stopped

Blocking of Google Docs and Telegra.ph services in Russia has stopped. This was announced on Thursday, September 16, by the GlobalCheck project, which monitors Russian Internet blocking systems.

Recall that on the eve of the GlobalCheck project on its Twitter page announced the restriction of access to the Google Docs service for subscribers of several Russian operators.

According to him, problems with access are noted by subscribers of MTS, Megafon, Tele2, Yota and Rostelecom in some regions of Russia. The statement notes that the blocking is most likely related to the publication of the Smart Voting lists on the Google Docs resource.

Earlier, last Wednesday, September 15, official representatives of Google and Apple were invited to a meeting of the Commission of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation for the protection of state sovereignty and prevention of interference in the internal affairs of Russia.
