Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov finished fifth in skiathlon at the World Cup in cross-country skiing in Finnish Lahti. The results are available on the website of the International Ski Federation (FIS).

Bolshunov lost to the Norwegians who returned to participate in the World Cup. The winner was Emil Iversen, who completed the race in one hour, 10 minutes and 18.4 seconds. The second place was taken by Shur Rete, 0.4 seconds behind Iversen. Paul Gulberg finished third, 6.6 seconds back.
