British and German fighter jets intercept Russian aircraft near Estonian airspace

German and British fighters intercepted a Russian Il-78 aircraft. It was recorded near Estonian airspace.

The aircraft was intercepted by two Typhoon fighters. This happened when British and German fighters were on a routine watch in the airspace of NATO countries.

Russian plane intercepted near Estonian airspace

As it became known, two Typhoon fighters intercepted an Il-78 military transport tanker aircraft. He flew between St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad. In addition, the enemy plane did not get in touch with air traffic controllers in Estonia.

After that, the fighters escorted the Il-78. Then they were redirected to intercept the An-148 aircraft, which also flew near Estonian airspace.

It is noted that German and British fighters were on scheduled duty in the airspace of NATO countries.

Three Russian military aircraft intercepted near Poland

On February 14, three Russian warplanes were seen in Polish airspace. They were discovered by the Dutch F-35 fighters.

Enemy aircraft were noticed when they were approaching the Polish zone of NATO responsibility from Kaliningrad. These were Il-20M Kut-A aircraft escorting two flank Su-27s.

As a result, the Dutch F-35s escorted a group of aircraft at a distance and handed over escort to partners from NATO.
