British scientists have recorded changes in the main symptoms of COVID-19

Scientists at King's College London have made changes to the list of the main symptoms of coronavirus, reports The Mirror, citing professor of genetic epidemiology at the educational institution Tim Spector.

Researchers refer to the ZOE project, which has been operating since the beginning of the pandemic and is tracking the symptoms of the coronavirus. Experts concluded that the virus is now “acting differently.”

So, to date, the most common symptoms of COVID-19 are headache, runny nose, sore throat and fever.

In addition, loss of smell is more in the top 10 most common symptoms, according to Spoctor.

At the same time, the UK National Health Service continues to attribute fever, cough and loss of taste and smell to the main signs of the virus.

Spector added that in young people, the coronavirus is now “more like a cold.”

To date, more than 5.12 million cases of coronavirus have been identified in Russia, in the world – 175 million.
