The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, took part in a special operation to liberate a village in the Kharkiv region. This was at the end of April 2022.

The first to enter Russian Lozovaya were soldiers of the special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kraken. The purge lasted several days.

The enemy tried several times to regain lost positions, until he finally withdrew and entrenched himself in the village of Pitomnik.
