The Cabinet of Ministers approved the creation of a special commission for the technical investigation of a fatal road accident that occurred near Chernigov on December 7 this year.

The government made the corresponding decision at its meeting today.

As Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal recalled, 13 people died as a result of this accident.

He specified that the results of the investigation by the government commission must be sent to the Cabinet before January 31, 2022 .

– Today the government decides to create a commission for the technical investigation of road accidents. A report on the results of the investigation into the causes of the accident must be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers by January 31, 2022. After that, the government will make decisions to improve road safety, – Shmygal emphasized.
