Citizens of Belarus are among the detainees: where and how did the Russian spy network operate in Poland

In Poland, a Russian spy network was exposed, which was planning sabotage on the territory of the country. Citizens of Belarus were found among the Kremlin agents. The Poles drew attention to the lack of professionalism of spies, one of them is only 18 years old.

The Polish public figure, scientist Ryszard Kupidura spoke about this on the air of Channel 24 . According to him, the Polish media drew attention to the low level of training of spies.

Polish media give details about spies

Cupidura noted that the Kremlin agents did not just work in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. There is a logistics hub for the transfer of weapons for Ukraine. Russia wanted to know what kind of weapons the Armed Forces of Ukraine really provide .

The scientist emphasized that the Polish media pay attention to two points. First of all, the fact that among the detained spies are citizens of Belarus, even though they worked specifically for the Russian special services .

They worked specifically for the Russian special services, and not for the Belarusian ones. Perhaps it is more profitable for Russia to work with the citizens of Belarus, because at first they do not arouse suspicion among the Polish special services, he suggested.

Also, according to Richard Cupidur, Poland drew attention to the extremely low level of training of Russian agents . One of the detainees is an 18-year-old student. According to him, there can be 2 explanations for this.

“Either there is not enough personnel at all and they had to turn to such non-professionals. Or they recruit everyone in a row to create the impression that Poland is surrounded by agents,” the scientist said.

The Polish public figure added that the citizenship of all members of the Russian spy network has not yet been determined.

Belarus quickly confirmed the information

Kupidura noted that the official state news agency of Belarus “BelTA” confirmed information about its citizens in spy networks , even provided data about these people.

“Usually, the Belarusian state media wait 2-3 days with an official reaction, and then suddenly they reacted the very next day. Perhaps this fits into the propaganda manual of the Belarusian media, which is designed to create enemies out of Poles that they only think of attacking Belarus,” he thinks.
