Contrary to the law: Onuphry led the Sunday service in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

The Moscow Patriarchate was supposed to leave the Kiev Pechersk Lavra on March 29th. However, contrary to the law, Onuphry, head of the UOC-MP, held a Sunday service there on April 2.

On the published footage you can see the believers who came to the service on April 2. It was headed by Metropolitan Onufry of the UOC-MP.

It is worth noting that representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate had to finally leave the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra on March 29. Before that, the reserve terminated the lease agreement with the UOC-MP due to numerous violations.

Pasha “Mercedes” was sent under house arrest

  • On Saturday, April 1, the court chose a preventive measure for Metropolitan of the UOC-MP Pasha “Mercedes” (Lebed ). Recall that the SBU handed him suspicion under two articles at once. In particular, incitement of inter-religious hatred and dissemination of materials justifying Russian aggression.
  • The court placed Lebed under round-the-clock house arrest for at least 60 days.
  • Pasha “Mercedes” complained about his health in order to avoid electronic bracelet. However, he was dressed.
