Conversion of 1 million from FUIB into safe shelters for more than a thousand schoolchildren in the Buchansky district

During the occupation of part of the Kiev region, more than one and a half thousand buildings were destroyed, including schools, the students of which could not return to their classes for full-time education. But now, thanks to the assistance of philanthropists, the situation is improving every day, and educational institutions are becoming safer.

The KSE Foundation charitable foundation has already completed the repair of 19 shelters in educational institutions. And thanks to the support of the FUIB Bank team, two more educational institutions will soon receive reliable shelters. How they look today, says Channel 24 .

FUIB allocated 1 million hryvnias to protect more than a thousand schoolchildren of academic lyceums in the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region: Dmitrovsky and Buzovsky. Both educational institutions suffered during the occupation by the enemy.

80% of the Buzovsky Academic Lyceum was destroyed during the fighting. Today, local authorities are carrying out repairs at the school, and the KSE Foundation, thanks to FUIB, will equip a safe shelter. Work is planned so that by the end of spring the lyceum will be fully restored, and from September the children will start offline learning.

Work on a shelter for the Dmitrovsky Lyceum will also start in the near future. Equipment was looted at the educational institution, windows and doors were smashed – due to the destruction, schoolchildren have not yet been able to return to full-fledged education, and the local rugby team to training.

Today, his students are forced to study at the local House of Culture, whose premises are too cramped for quality classes. Of the 26 classes of the lyceum, only 8 can study at the same time, others are forced to wait in line – classes are built on the principle of rotating online and offline lessons for groups of children.
