Cyborg Sergey Kroitor died in the battles for Donbass
On March 15, a cyborg, the defender of the Donetsk airport Sergey Kroytor, died in the Donbass. The Kievite went to the front in 2014.
This was announced by the philanthropist Anatoly Svirid. Kroitor had the call sign “Hottabych”. He was a regular military man even before the collapse of the USSR, he served in the airborne troops, but retired.

The soldier died near the village of Yampol, Donetsk region, writes Zn.ua. In addition to the military sphere, Kroitor worked for 6 years with designer Mikhail Voronin. He then opened his own small tailoring business.
He was a participant in the Revolution of Dignity, and in the summer of 2014 he went to the front. During the first years of the war in the Donetsk region, Sergei Kroitor went through two rotations at the Donetsk airport.

Earlier, the fighter told volunteer Lesya Litvinova about the protection of the DAP. He did not believe that the Ukrainian fighters would come out. The airport fell, RPGs flew through the windows. Kroitor recalled that the guys began to call home by phone – someone to his wife, and someone to his son.
