In the Kiev region, a 33-year-old woman was detained, who seriously injured a minor guy in a fight with neighbors.

The incident took place in the city of Vyshneve late in the evening on February 11th. The police were called by the doctors who hospitalized the wounded 17-year-old boy. It is already known that he has penetrating stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.

What happened

According to investigators, that evening, the 39-year-old woman was returning home with her son and daughter. In the courtyard of the house where the family lived, they were met by neighbors – a married couple.

A 33-year-old man made a rude remark to the mother of two because of the alleged constant noise in her apartment. The 17-year-old son stood up for his mother, and a fight ensued between him and a neighbor.

Defending her husband, the neighbor's 33-year-old wife took a knife out of her bag and stabbed the minor several times .

Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Article 121 (Deliberate grievous bodily injury) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The apartment of the detained woman has already been searched, during which material evidence was seized.

If the court proves the guilt of the unfortunate neighbor, she faces five to eight years behind bars. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
