Democracy works, – people's deputy on the meeting of the anti-corruption committee with the participation of Reznikov

On January 24th, the anti-corruption committee met on the overpriced military food scandal. The committee's key conclusions and results are known.

People's Deputy Yaroslav Yurchyshyn spoke about them. It is known that the meeting was held with the participation of Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov, representatives of the ministry, NACP, NABU and the Accounts Chamber.

Briefly about the key: :

Bohdan Khmelnitsky, responsible for procurement removed from office in December 2022 and dismissed on the 20th of January 2023;
While the military food contracts for 2023 are not yet in effect, the supply is carried out according to the parameters of 2022. Since a large number of inaccuracies were found in the contracts, they are being checked and examined;
The State Audit Service also checks the scope of procurement (at the request of the Minister) and plans to check the Accounts Chamber (at the request of the head of the committee, Anastasia Radina);
