Despite the US sanctions, Huawei has released two new products on the Russian market: gaming and work monitors.

The HUAWEI MateView GT is a huge flagship 4K gaming monitor with a 34-inch 21: 9 curved matrix, 3440×1440 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The declared brightness reaches 350 nits with a contrast ratio of 4000: 1, the matrix is fully 10-bit and supports HDR 10.

The monitor stand has two built-in speakers with a power of 5 W each and a system for suppressing background noise during calls from the computer.

But Huawei MateView GT differs not only in these characteristics. It supports adjusting the brightness when dark and light scenes appear to make it easier to detect opponents in games. And the monitor can also draw a crosshair in first-person shooters, even in cases when the game does not intentionally display this crosshair.

Another novelty of the company – the MateView monitor – received a diagonal of 28.2 inches and a screen resolution of 3840 × 2560 with an unusual aspect ratio of 3: 2 by modern standards. Huawei promises up to 500 nits of brightness with a 1200: 1 contrast ratio. The monitor has two built-in speakers of 5W each, as well as USB-A and USB-C ports for fast charging of smartphones and laptops with power up to 65W.

The cost of a gaming monitor will be 45,999 rubles, and a working one – 59,999 rubles. Sales will begin on August 3, 2021.
