Talks between Russia, Germany and France on the Ukrainian settlement will be held on January 6 in Moscow. The details of the meeting were revealed by a TASS source in the Russian presidential administration.

According to him, foreign policy adviser to German Chancellor Jens Pletner and diplomatic adviser to French President Emmanuel Bonn will arrive in Moscow. They will be received by the deputy head of the Kremlin administration Dmitry Kozak. Participation in the meeting of representatives of Kiev is not expected.

At the end of December, the German government confirmed that Chancellor's adviser Pletner plans to hold negotiations with Kozak on Ukraine, but the participation of a French representative in them became known only on January 3 from an official statement by a representative of the German Cabinet. Interlocutors of Reuters called direct negotiations between Berlin and Moscow on the Ukrainian issue a rare event.
