Apple revealed the cost of the new laptops unveiled at its Tuesday November 10 launch. Prices for gadgets are published on the official website of the company.
According to the report, in Russia, the cost of new MacBook Air will be from 99.9 thousand rubles, MacBook Pro – from 129.9 thousand rubles, and Mac Mini – from 74.9 thousand rubles.
The company noted that the new M1 chip of its own production will allow laptops to work faster and more efficiently.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro has increased CPU power up to 2.8x and graphics processing speed up to five times. Thanks to the advanced Neural Engine, the machine learning speed has increased up to 11 times. At the same time, the MacBook Pro lasts up to 20 hours without recharging – longer than any other Mac, Apple said.
The Mac Mini's processor power has reportedly increased up to three times, graphics are processed up to six times faster, and machine learning speed has increased up to 15 times. MacBook Air will have a CPU up to 3.5x faster, a GPU up to 5x, and machine learning up to 9x faster.
Earlier on November 10, Apple introduced the new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini. They became the first computers of the company with its own M1 processor. Laptops were first announced at WWDC 2020 on June 22nd. At the same time, Apple announced the rejection of Intel chips, clarifying that Apple Silicon processors provide better performance, energy efficiency, compatibility with the rest of the hardware and software.
